The idea of "my skeleton isn't my own" is very new and creative to me. I got the "Activated" ending, and then the "Child Soldier". The concept was intriguing to say the least. We have no knowledge of our character except for the text choices and narration. Assuming Johann is an abusive friend or relative from the text was my first and final guess. What really creeped me was the constant "please come home". No other response, and further increasing my curiosity by having a large male figure with what looked like a large bracer and bandages around his head also saying the one line "please come home". The fact that she new about (if you choose it) the russian bullet caliber, the plastic bomb, and microchip was also confusing. However she could just be assuming. Either it's the art of video games changing the world and characters according to your action, or it's the narrator making up nonsense.

Rambling aside I think from a logical/realistic standpoint that our narrator is suffering from an abusive relationship with Johann and/or family, and due to this she has run away out of the country and stolen an Xray to investigate boogiemen. Afterwards due to Xray radiation and several incisions and even vomiting she makes up a story based on the chosen boogiemen.Honestly, I think that man was... Johann. Wrapped in bandages maybe after an accident. Maybe, after a cliche near-death experience he saw what he had done to this poor girl. And pursued her. Trying to get her to come home so he could make it up to her.

But I could be super f*ckin wrong ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A game with the setting of a post-apocalyptic wasteland where you help an AI save the broken world (Lore can be found on the itch page). The graphics are cute-low pixel with simple animations so far. The gameplay consists of farming resources, exploring, building towns, and of course the main quest-line with some extra side quests. To me it's a really fun and addictive game that you should try.

Both your ideas are good, but why not have both? So you could either build a dog and try to deceive him, or just find the dog. In the case of you building the dog (when I say building an animal I mean something along the lines of creating llamas and farm animals) you would have to do something like roll for deception or add a new feature to the SPECIAL system, and if you fail the Old Coot provides a surprisingly tough fight. Or you could just find the dog with ways such as yours, but not trading microchips if there is no endgame gear and resources to make up for it. However, I still think there should be a quest based completely (or at least mostly) on luck.

Cool, thanks!

Please optimize frame rate when there is any type of weather. I ran into this problem recording gameplay and any weather reduces from 120 to 40 fps. Just a quick notification.

Thanks!

If I have my game in a previous version and I want to update it, do I download the newer version and place like a type of file in it or is there a built-in updating system?

Do you have G-mail or such? I'd like to send you a Google document.

Thanks, the game is already so great I'm surprised it's still an Alpha.

The Old Coot

A random encounter with an old run-down shack will shelter a frail old man, barely able to stand. He goes on about his dog (Once dogs are implemented because he just needs animations) who wandered off. He is clearly off his rocker, literally and figuratively, but begs you to find him. Not having offered a reward yet, you can refuse or accept. If you find the dog (Will spawn randomly and literally anywhere) and return, he will give some endgame materials or gear OR you could keep the dog and leave the old man lonely for the rest of his days.

Note: This quest can be extremely easy or downright impossible because the shack and dog can spawn anywhere.

Suggestions?

A 2nd floor. That's it. Couldn't ask more from a golden "Alpha". Expect some notes in the near future.

PS I like notes.
